Natural gas grew in price for heat producers in December – Naftogaz

In December 2020, the wholesale price of natural gas for heat producers receiving gas from NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine under the special terms of public service obligations (PSO) is UAH 6,103.1 per 1,000 cubic meters, the company’s press service reports.
In November 2020, the wholesale price of natural gas for heat producers receiving gas under the PSO terms was UAH 5,375.37 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Naftogaz reminded that the price of gas for heat producers is calculated in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of October 19, 2018, No.867, taking into account changes in quotations (prices) at European gas hubs.
According to Naftogaz, the average gas price under PSO terms in 2020 was UAH 3,813.1 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 28% lower than the average gas price under PSO terms in 2019.
