Agrarian Club established at Embassy of Ukraine in China

The Agrarian Club was established at the Embassy of Ukraine in the People's Republic of China to promote the bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture.

As the press service of the diplomatic mission informs, trade and investment potential of Ukraine’s agricultural sector was presented to the Chinese side at the meeting of Ambassador of Ukraine to China Serhiy Kamyshev and the embassy staff with Vice President of the China National Association of Grain Sector Ren Zhi, Division Director of the Center of International Cooperation Service Yu Yang and Secretary-General of the China Animal Agriculture Association He Xintian.

“The parties discussed possible areas of further cooperation, challenges, as well as issues related to the opening of the Chinese market for new products of Ukraine's agro-industrial complex... In addition, following the meeting and at the initiative of the Ambassador, the parties agreed to establish the Agrarian Club, the main purpose of which will be to promote the development of Ukraine-China cooperation in the field of agriculture,” the statement reads.

As the Embassy informs, it was agreed to hold regular meetings in this format.
