Funds for salaries of miners to be transferred soon – PM Shmyhal

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said that UAH 1.4 billion will be soon transferred to pay off wage arrears of coal miners.
“As for the salaries to coal miners, a bill has been approved. On Wednesday, the government made relevant decisions on the distribution of funds," Shmyhal said during an hour of questions to the government, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He reminded that the funds would come from NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and UAH 1.4 billion of state debt on miners' salaries would be paid off.
As reported, in November, UAH 1.4 billion was allocated in budget funds to pay off wage arrears to coal minder by the end of the year. The source of funds are mandatory payments to NJSC Naftogaz and JSC Ukrnafta to the state budget.
