Ukraine, Brazil identify promising projects in military and aerospace industries
The parties discussed strategic cooperation between the two countries in the military, technical, and defense sectors. They also identified promising bilateral projects in the field of military-technical cooperation, as well as in the aerospace industry.
"Ukraine and Brazil have their own highly developed technologies and operate in third-country markets. I am convinced that by joint efforts we will be able to increase our competitive advantages in foreign markets," Zhovkva stressed.
He noted that the first dialogue on the defense industry between Ukraine and Brazil, which took place following the agreements between the Presidents of Ukraine and Brazil, has become a unique interstate format, which, among other things, allows to establish direct links not only between state-owned enterprises but also between private companies in this area.
In this context, the deputy head of the President’s Office thanked the deputy defense minister of Brazil for including representatives of the world-famous companies such as Embraer, Taurus Armas, AVIBRÁS, IMBEL, Condor, Kryptus in the official delegation.
As Ukrinform reported, the first dialogue on the defense industry of Brazil and Ukraine began on December 1 as part of an official visit to Ukraine by a Brazilian delegation led by Deputy Defense Minister Marcos Rosas Degaut Pontes.
