Ukrainian farmers gathered grain crops from 95% of projected area

As of November 19, Ukraine harvested 78.5 million tonnes of main crops from an area of 23.4 million hectares, including 60.3 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops from an area of ​​14.6 million hectares, or 95% of the forecast, according to the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.

In particular, Ukrainian farmers gathered 243.7 thousand tonnes of millet from an area of 150.3 thousand hectares (100% of the forecast); 105.6 thousand tonnes of buckwheat from 78.4 thousand hectares (100%); 13 million tonnes of sunflower from 6.4 million hectares (100%); 2.7 million tonnes of soybeans from 1.3 million hectares (97%); 24.5 million tonnes of corn from 4.7 million hectares (86%).

Ukrainian farmers also gathered 8.1 million tonnes of sugar beets from an area of 190.7 thousand hectares (88%).
