Zelensky waiting for arrival of IMF mission, next tranche

Ukrinform
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he expects the arrival of a mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Kyiv and the granting of the next tranche to Ukraine.

He said this in a video posted on his Facebook page, according to Ukrinform.

"Without going into details, I can say that in general, the International Monetary Fund continues to support us. We had a good discussion, dialogue, substantive conversation [with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva]. We continue to cooperate. We are waiting for the IMF mission to begin its work in Kyiv. We are waiting for the next tranche for Ukraine," Zelensky said.

In his opinion, all this will definitely happen, and, accordingly, there will be financial stability in Ukraine.

Zelensky recalled that during his conversation with Georgieva on November 17, they discussed, in particular, the importance of maintaining the anti-corruption infrastructure in Ukraine and resolving the situation with the Constitutional Court.
