Funds from World Bank for restoring economy in Donbas to support business – Shmyhal

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal says that funds from the World Bank for the restoration of the economy in the government-controlled territories in Donbas will create additional opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses.

“I would like to thank our partners from the World Bank. Today [November 7], President Volodymyr Zelensky announced an agreement on the allocation of $100 million to restore the economy of the controlled part of Donbas. These are important funds to create additional opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses, increase jobs and prosperity of residents of the region," Shmyhal wrote on his Facebook page.

As reported by Ukrinform, the World Bank announced about the allocation of $100 million for the restoration of the economy of the contact line territories in eastern Ukraine.
