Ukraine’s Donetsk region has fully completed the construction and reconstruction of 15 infrastructure facilities included in the Great Construction national program.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military-Civil State Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said this at a briefing in Kramatorsk on November 3, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have fulfilled our obligations under the presidential program “Great Construction” and fully completed the construction and reconstruction of the so-called “three fives”- five schools, five kindergartens, and five sports facilities,” the head of the region said.

In addition, Kyrylenko noted that work on the construction and opening of medical outpatient clinics is nearing completion.

As a reminder, the Great Construction national program was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in the autumn of 2019. The goal of the project is to build the necessary infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine. Construction works within 300 infrastructure facilities were launched on March 1, 2020. According to the program, 100 schools, 100 kindergartens, 100 stadiums, 200 hospital emergency rooms, and 4,000 kilometers of roads are planned to be built in 2020.
