Leaders of all parliamentary factions and groups have agreed that the Verkhovna Rada will postpone the use of cash registers for the simplified taxation system until January 1, 2022.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov announced this following a meeting with the leaders of parliamentary factions and groups and Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Dear colleagues, a working meeting has been just held between the leadership of the parliament and representatives of all parliamentary factions and groups. We have discussed the issue of support for small and medium-sized businesses during COVID-19 [pandemic]... An unanimous position was approved to postpone the use of cash registers for the simplified taxation system for a year - until January 1, 2022,” the speaker said.

According to Razumkov, the Verkhovna Rada will register a relevant bill today, November 3.

As reported by Ukrinform, in September 2019, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law that provides for the mandatory use of cash registers and software registrars of cash settlements for small businesses.
