Energoatom transfers UAH 9.4B in tax payments in January-August 2020

Ukraine’s National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom transferred UAH 9.399 billion in tax and insurance payments to the budgets of all levels between January-August 2020, according to the company’s press service.
In particular, the company paid UAH 7.24 billion in taxes and UAH 2.1619 billion in insurance payments.
Energoatom generated 51.285 billion kWh of electricity in January-August 2020. Underproduction of electricity amounted to 8.13 billion kWh due to balance restrictions over the reporting period, which is 8.01 billion kWh more compared with the same period in 2019 (120 million kWh).
