PM Shmyhal: Digital transformation to accelerate business development

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this during the Diia Summit on Monday, October 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Of course, this is the economy, of course it is a huge investment resource, because digitalization allows us to free up millions of man-hours we spend in queues, which we spend on paperwork, which we spend on the approval of registers, certificates and so on. This is a huge investment resource that we will be able to be optimally distributed," Shmyhal said.

He noted that according to experts, the use of digital technologies accelerates business development by two or even three times. Shmyhal noted that the state leadership understands this, so it will do everything possible to ensure that people do not waste their time sitting in queues. According to him, the government will develop the Diia program and work for a breakthrough in the digital sphere. "This is one of our main priorities in the government's action program. This is geopolitically predominant and we will pay great attention to it in the future,” Shmyhal said.
