Ukraine plans to start exporting chicken meat to Mexico

Specialists of the Ukrainian State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and representatives of the competent body of the United Mexican States discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the countries.
LLC ProAgro Group reported this with reference to data provided by the State Border Guard Service.
In particular, the parties discussed the issue of accreditation of Ukraine to open the Mexican market for Ukrainian chicken meat. The possibilities of accrediting enterprises of potential exporters amid pandemic were considered. The sides also discussed the issue of harmonizing export requirements for reptiles and wild birds to Mexico.
"The strengthening of cooperation between competent authorities and business communities will accelerate the intensification of trade between Ukraine and Mexico," Acting Head of the State Service on Food Safety Olha Shevchenko said.
