UIA cancels two flights to Israel in October

Ukrinform
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has canceled two flights to Israel in October 2020 and postponed the launch of two new flights to Europe, the company's press service has reported.

UIA said it would temporarily suspend flights between Kharkiv and Tel Aviv from October 4 and flights between Dnipro and Tel Aviv from October 8. The airline also postponed the launch of Kyiv-Brussels and Kyiv-Dusseldorf flights until October 24, 2020.

According to the report, the revision of the flight schedule at the end of summer navigation is associated with a decrease in traffic on these European destinations due to the transition to the autumn-winter low season for aviation. The decision was also influenced by restrictions on crossing Israel's borders from September 25 to October 11.

Earlier, UIA also canceled flights to Yerevan due to the escalation of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
