NBU decides to liquidate Bank Arcada

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has decided to revoke a banking license and liquidate JSC Bank Arcada, the central bank’s press service reports.
The National Bank, upon a proposal of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, adopted decision No.601-rsh as of September 24, 2020 on revoking a banking license and liquidating JSC Bank Arcada.
As Ukrinform reported, on August 25, the NBU Board decided to put JSC Bank Arcada on the list of insolvent banks due to a reduction in capital ratios by 50% and more from the minimum set level.
According to media reports, Arcada Bank posted UAH 9.75 million in losses in the first half of 2020. The amount deposits of individuals in the bank reached UAH 402.6 million, deposits of legal entities - UAH 308.8 million.
