Shmyhal: Exchange rate projected at UAH 29 per U.S. dollar in draft state budget for 2021

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has stated that the exchange rate of hryvnia is projected at UAH 29.0 per the U.S. dollar in the draft state budget for 2021.
"The exchange rate is set at about UAH 29, which is a little more optimistic than we have set for the current year – UAH 29.5," Shmyhal said on the TV channel Ukraine 24 on Friday evening.
Shmyhal added that the draft state budget for 2021 envisages a budget deficit at the level of 6%.
As Ukrinform reported, the hryvnia exchange rate was at UAH 28.2 per the U.S. dollar in the state budget for 2020.
