Support from Ukraine's international partners energizes for fruitful work – PM
“Meetings with the ambassadors of the G7 countries are especially important for me because the support from stalwart friends of Ukraine energizes for fruitful work. I am grateful to our partners for constructive dialogue and exchange of views on topical issues,” Shmyhal wrote on Twitter on September 3.
EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas previously said that the ambassadors of the G7 countries at a meeting with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed the issues of PrivatBank court cases, legal situation around anti-corruption bodies, energy market and other topical issues.
On September 2, Kyiv’s Pechersk District Court ruled that PrivatBank must pay $350 million to the companies owned by Surkis brothers.
The Finance Ministry of Ukraine has stated it does not agree with the court’s ruling and will continue to protect the interests of the state and the bank.
