Ukraine to attract new loans worth EUR 250M from Cargill

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the attraction of loans worth EUR 250 million from Cargill Financial Services International, Inc. in 2020.

This was said in a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated August 17, 2020, No.717, "On the implementation of public external borrowing in 2020 by attracting loans," the Government portal reports.

According to the document, the total amount of loans has an interest income at a rate of 5.95% per annum under loan agreements maturing three years after the date of receipt of the credit funds and at a rate of 6.85% under loan agreements for a period of five years after the date of receipt of the loan funds.

As reported, in October 2019, Ukraine attracted loans from Cargill in the amount of almost EUR 250 million.
