Ukraine already harvested 36.7M tonnes of grain

In total, Ukrainian farmers have harvested 39.2 million tonnes of grain, leguminous crops and rapeseed (+3.9 million tonnes per week) from an area of 10.4 million hectares.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian farmers have already threshed 25.5 million tonnes of wheat from an area of 6.3 million hectares (96% of the forecast); 8.6 million tonnes of barley from an area of 2.4 million hectares (99%); 508 thousand tonnes of peas from an area of 234 thousand hectares (99%) and 2.5 million tonnes of rapeseed from an area of 1.07 million hectares (96%).

As noted, 15 regions have completed the harvesting of wheat and barley, 19 regions – peas, and 16 regions – rapeseed.

As Ukrinform reported, according to the Economy Ministry, Ukraine harvested almost 33 million tonnes of grain and legumes as of August 6.
