Ukraine’s state-owned postal operator Ukrposhta is implementing a project of mobile offices and next year it will have 2,000 cars for this.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this when handing over 22 cars to Ukrposhta near the Cabinet of Ministers building on Wednesday, August 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Ukrposhta is implementing a project of comfortable services for Ukrainians. Cars will drive to every populated area, to remote villages ... Ukrposhta will implement this project this year. There will be 500 cars in 2020 and 2,000 next year," Shmyhal said.

He also added that this project allows the creation of additional jobs for drivers and security guards who will also ride in these cars.

As reported, mobile post offices are a project of Ukrposhta, the purpose of which is to improve the quality of postal, logistics and financial services in villages with a small population.
