Domestic flights of the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines, launched at the end of June, are at 62% capacity, according to the airline's press service.

“At the end of June, we launched domestic flights – from Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv to Odesa, as well as Kyiv-Zaporizhzhia and Lviv-Kherson flights. Passenger seat occupancy on these flights is 62%. We provide social tariffs on these flights. We see a tendency that passengers are ready to buy tickets in the price range of UAH 500-800," the press service notes.

At the same time, the situation with international regular flights is somewhat better - the occupancy rate is about 100%. However, from July 1, SkyUp launched flights only to Tirana (Albania). On July 22, the airline began a regular flight program from Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv to Burgas (Bulgaria).

The airline hopes that the situation will improve in the coming months and more countries will open their borders to Ukrainians. Accordingly, SkyUp will start operating more regular flights to different countries.

As reported, adaptive quarantine is in force in Ukraine until August 31. That is, restrictive measures can be relaxed or intensified depending on the epidemic situation in each region.

Scheduled international flights were resumed on June 15 after a months-long break due to the coronavirus pandemic. Domestic air traffic was resumed on June 5.
