Deposit Guarantee Fund: Insolvent banks received UAH 2.8B in H1 2020

“In January-June 2020, UAH 2,834.9 million was transferred to the accounts of insolvent banks. In particular, the proceeds from the sale of assets for the first half of the year amounted to UAH 2,595.6 million, loan repayments - UAH 224.4 million, property rent - UAH 15.0 million,” reads the report.

The largest revenues came to: JSC CB Nadra – UAH 591.2 million; JSC Delta Bank – UAH 500.2 million; PJSC VAB Bank - UAH 380.9 million; JSC VTB Bank – UAH 373.2 million; JSC Imexbank– UAH 218.7 million.

In June 2020, UAH 420.7 million was transferred to the accounts of insolvent banks. In particular, the proceeds from the sale of assets amounted to UAH 400.0 million. The largest revenues from the sale of assets came to: JSC Imexbank - UAH 193.8 million; JSC Delta Bank - UAH 114.1 million; JSC Rodovid Bank - UAH 44.8 million; PJSC Radical Bank - UAH 13.9 million; JSC VTB Bank - UAH 13.0 million.

In addition, in June 2020, insolvent banks received UAH 19.5 million from repayment of loans and UAH 1.2 million from property rent.

The Deposit Guarantee Fund added that no funds were received from redemption of securities in January-June 2020.
