NBU bought $169.8 mln, sold $150.9 mln in interbank market last week

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) purchased $169.8 million and sold $150.9 million in the interbank foreign exchange market last week, the NBU’s press service has reported.
According to the results of NBU currency interventions, from June 30 to July 3, 2020, the National Bank bought $169.8 million in the interbank foreign exchange market, and sold $150.9 million.
In total, since the beginning of 2020, the National Bank bought $3.885 billion and sold $2.944 billion in the interbank currency market.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the results of NBU currency interventions in 2019, the Bank purchased $8462.6 million and sold $529.225 million.
