US, EU praise Deposit Guarantee Fund efforts in maintaining Ukraine’s economic stability

During the meeting, U.S. Charge d'Affaires a.i. in Ukraine Kristina Kvien and Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Artur Gebal praised the important efforts made by the Deposit Guarantee Fund in recent years to overcome Ukraine's banking crisis, restoring confidence in the banking system and returning the economy to normal.

"They discussed current attempts to undermine the Deposit Guarantee Fund’s work and noted the crucial role the Fund plays in maintaining macro-financial security and creating an environment that contributes to the growth," reads the statement.

As reported, after a 4-year break, the Constitutional Court resumed consideration of the constitutionality of the law on the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
