Ukrzaliznytsia increases transportation of construction materials

In January-May 2020, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia transported 15 million tonnes of mineral construction materials, which is 6% more than in the same period last year, according to the company’s press service.
"Ukrzaliznytsia is a reliable partner of the Great Construction project initiated by the Ukrainian President. The carrier provides stable and uninterrupted transportation of materials necessary for the construction industry, including for repairs and building of roads. For example, almost 15 million tonnes of mineral construction materials were transported over the first five months of this year,” reads the statement.
As Ukrinform reported, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 29.1 million tonnes of construction materials in 2019, which is 19.1% less than in 2018.
