Air traffic between Ukraine and Austria may resume after June 23

Regular flights between Ukraine and Austria may resume after June 23, Ukraine's Ambassador to Austria Olexander Scherba has said.

"As for the situation with the resumption of flights between Ukraine and Austria, it is likely that flights will resume after June 23. This will happen as soon as both countries by that time will be “open” to each other in terms of open airspace and the removal of restrictions on entry of citizens,” Scherba wrote on his Facebook page.

According to the ambassador, it is very important that Ukraine get through the peak of the coronavirus pandemic.

In another post, Scherba informed that SkyUp Airlines will carry out a special flight on the Kyiv-Vienna-Kyiv route on June 8. A ticket price starts at EUR 169.
