NBU provides refinancing to six banks for UAH 1.5 bln

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) provided UAH 1.459 billion in refinancing to six banks on May 22, the NBU's press service has reported.
"The National Bank of Ukraine reports that a quantitative tender for the refinancing of banks took place on May 22, 2020. The applications of six banks for the total amount of UAH 1.459 billion at an interest rate of 8.00% per annum were satisfied at the tender," the report reads.
At a tender held on May 15, banks raised refinancing for a total of UAH 667 million.
