Zelensky instructs Investment Office to attract $7 bln within 18 months

Ukraine will open an Investment Office in September that should attract about $7 billion to the country within 18 months.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this at a press conference on his first year in office in Kyiv on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“I must say about the Investment Office, which we will open at the end of September… It will be the agency in charge of all investments," Zelensky said.
According to the president, all ministries have agencies working with the investment policy, and so that to avoid confusion, it was decided to create one transparent investment office, which will start operating in September.
"It will be in charge of all investments. I have already agreed on my first plan, we have already seen it. There is a plan for 18 months - a plan for rapid investment of 7 million U.S. dollars in Ukraine," Zelensky said.
