Government approves regional development projects worth almost UAH 5 bln

The relevant draft project was developed by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, the ministry’s press service reported.

Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Chernyshov noted that respective changes were recommended at a meeting of the commission formed by the ministry to evaluate and select programs and projects proposed by regional and Kyiv city state administrations on May 6.

"Thus, we have distributed UAH 4.87 billion from the State Regional Development Fund to implement 461 regional development projects in the regions and Kyiv. This will help increase access to quality social, educational, medical services and infrastructure development in the regions," Chernyshov said.

As reported, the budget of the State Regional Development Fund amounts to UAH 4.9 billion in 2020.
