Shmyhal, Merkel discuss possibility of obtaining industrial visa-free regime with EU

During a video conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal raised the issue of obtaining an industrial visa-free regime with the European Union and joining NATO's Enhanced Opportunities Partnership (EOP).

"Denys Shmyhal raised an issue of the possibility of obtaining an industrial visa-free regime with the European Union, as well as Ukraine's accession to NATO's Enhanced Opportunities Partnership (EOP)," the press service of the head of the Ukrainian government reported.

PM Shmyhal assured that European and Euro-Atlantic integration remained a priority of Ukraine’s foreign policy.

"I hope that Germany during its presidency in the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2020 will give a clear signal about Ukraine's European future," he said.
