UkraineInvest to open its offices in each region

Secretary of the National Investment Council of Ukraine Levan Varshalomidze said this during an online investment forum Tavrian Online Horizons on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“As for the work of the Council [Ukraine’s National Investment Council], as well as UkraineInvest, we are developing a concept, and in May we will present a new concept of our work. We want to become more transparent and accessible. We want to transfer UkraineInvest, which is currently working in the Cabinet, to an open area ... where everyone can come and get the full amount of our services and consultations. In the future, we plan to open a representative office in each region,” Varshalomidze said.

He called on businessmen to offer “crazy” ideas as well, because what seems crazy today can be the key to tomorrow’s success. In his opinion, it is necessary to depart from stereotypes that only certain sectors of the economy can develop in Ukraine, in particular agriculture.
