The Ukrainian banking system will remain closed for three days due to the Easter holiday celebrated in Ukraine on April 19, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

"The holiday weekend is approaching and three days off ahead. Banks, like the whole country, will not work on April 18, 19 and 20," reads the statement.

The National Bank notes that the banking system in 2020 will operate in line with the general schedule of public holidays and weekends in Ukraine.
