Operator of Gas Transmission System pays UAH 1.5 bln of taxes in Q1 2020

Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine LLC (OGTSU) transferred UAH 1.511 billion of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in the first quarter of 2020, the company’s press service reported.
In particular, OGTSU transferred UAH 1.291 billion in value added tax (VAT), which makes up 85% of the total sum paid by the company and 2% of the total VAT revenues paid to the state budget of Ukraine since the beginning of the year.
"Also, in January-March, UAH 111 million of single social contribution, UAH 101 million of personal income tax and UAH 8.4 million of military fees were paid to the state and local budgets,” the company said.
As reported, on January 1, 2020, after the unbundling and the separation from the Naftogaz group, the Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine LLC started its activity as an independent gas transmission system operator of Ukraine.
