Berdychiv town to receive EUR 1 mln loan for water system reconstruction

The town of Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region, will receive a EUR 1 million loan and a EUR 150,000 grant from the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) for the reconstruction of a water supply network, according to news portal RIO Berdychiv.
“The Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) agreed to the proposal submitted by Berdychiv authorities. The Corporation will provide the town with a loan in the amount of EUR 1 million and a grant worth EUR 150,000 as part of the Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP),” the statement reads.
In particular, NEFCO will finance all the necessary equipment, and the town will pay only for the performance of work.
Berdychiv will receive a loan from NEFCO for 10 years at a fixed rate of 3% per annum.
