The State Property Fund of Ukraine plans to sell more than 500 enterprises in 2020.

"This year we plan to sell more than 500 enterprises. There will be small entities, real estate and so-called nonfunctioning facilities among them," Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko said during the roundtable meeting on aspects of the privatization policy implementation and the introduction of social compensators during the privatization of state-owned property, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He reminded that privatization should bring about UAH 12 billion to the state budget this year.

According to Sennychenko, the agricultural enterprises will also be transferred to the State Property Fund of Ukraine for privatization.

"There is a set of agricultural enterprises, but it is not yet clear what formula will be used for the privatization of the enterprises with big land plots," the State Property Fund chairman said.

In 2019, the state budget of Ukraine received almost UAH 2.7 billion due to the activity of the State Property Fund.
