The Deposit Guarantee Fund last week sold insolvent banks' assets worth UAH 28 million, the fund's press service reported.
“Last week (January 8-11) the assets of 10 banks, which are in the management of the Fund, were sold for a total sum of UAH 28 million,” the report says.
In particular, UAH 16.2 million was received from the repayment of fund creditors' claims and UAH 6.9 million from the sale of main banks' assets. Also, UAH 4.4 million was obtained from the sale of securities, corporate rights, UAH 0.5 million from the sale of accounts receivables, coins and bank metals.
As Ukrinform reported, the Deposit Guarantee Fund last week planned to sell insolvent banks' assets for a total sum of UAH 1.041 billion.
