Too early to talk about joint Ukrainian-Belarusian missile project - ambassador

Belarus has experience in creating missile defense systems, such as the Polonez rocket system. But we are also interested in cooperation in this area with other countries. I think it would be a mutually beneficial project," Sokol said.

He said that last month, he visited Pivdenmash in Dnipro and met with CEO Serhiy Voit.

"I was amazed that the company kept its skeleton, adapted to modern realities and continues to produce world-class high-tech products in demand in such developed countries as Canada and the United States. In principle, Belarus is interested in Ukraine's experience in this field. We managed to connect the leading executives of both countries, but now it's probably early to talk about what their agreements will be like," the diplomat said.
