Bill on additional financing of coal industry registered in Verkhovna Rada

A draft law on additional financing of the coal industry in 2019 has been registered in the Ukrainian parliament, according to the Trade Union of Coal Industry Workers of Ukraine.
"A draft law on additional financing of the coal industry in 2019 has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," reads the report.
It is noted that considering the situation in the coal industry with the payment of salaries to employees of state mines, the arrears of which as of December 1, 2019 made up over UAH 500 million, the bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine on the state budget for 2019 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada to increase expenditures under the budget program "Restructuring of the Coal Industry" (No. 550). The document envisages additional financing for the payment of salaries to coal miners.
