The living wage and the minimum pension have increased in Ukraine from December 1.

In particular, the living wage for able-bodied persons rose to UAH 2,102 from UAH 2,007, for disabled persons to UAH 1,638 from UAH 1,564, for children under the age of six to UAH 1,779 from UAH 1,699, and for children aged 6-18 years to UAH 2,218 from UAH 2,118.

An increase in the living wage will lead to a recalculation of pensions for 11 million retirees. The minimum pension will now reach UAH 1,638.

In addition, the maximum amount of unemployment benefits in Ukraine from December 1 grew to UAH 8,408 (four living wages).

Various social payments have also increased. For example, the minimum amount of alimony for children under six years of age grew from UAH 849.5 to UAH 889.5 and for children from six to 18 years from UAH 1,059 to UAH 1,109.
