The Republic of Poland will grant 5,000 additional permits to Ukraine to carry out road freight transport operations in 2019.

Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii wrote this on his Facebook page.

“Five hours of talks with Polish colleagues from the Infrastructure Ministry. Plus 5,000 permits for Ukrainian carriers for the current year,” Kryklii wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, in 2019, Poland reduced to 160,000 the number of permits to transport Ukrainian goods to Poland or transit through Poland. In 2018, Poland granted 260,000 such permits to Ukraine.
