A total of 873 Ukrainian companies have been established online in Estonia through e-residency programme.

Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov wrote about this on Facebook.

“Ukraine is ranked third among countries that have e-residency. It has 3,900 successful applicants. And it is the first by the number of registered companies through e-residency. It has 873 companies,” Mylovanov wrote.

He explained that e-residency offers the possibility to become an e-resident of Estonia online and start own company there.

"Estonia is the EU, so the company receives relevant access and legal protection," the minister explained.

E-residency of Estonia is a program launched by Estonia on December 1, 2014. The program allows non-Estonians access to Estonian services such as company formation, banking, payment processing, and taxation. The program gives the e-resident a smart card which they can use to sign documents.
