Kyiv plans to buy 30 buses, 50 trolleybuses and 20 trams in 2020

In 2020, Kyiv authorities plan to acquire 30 buses, 50 trolleybuses and 20 trams, advisor to the Kyiv mayor Maksym Bakhmatov has stated.

“In 2020, we plan to purchase 30 buses, 50 trolleybuses and 20 trams. We also plan to write off 19 trolleybuses, 6 trams and 28 buses,” Bakhmatov said in an interview with Liga.net.

This year, the city has already received 13 trolleybuses and is still waiting for seven buses. In addition, 33 trolleybuses and 69 buses were written off.

Kyiv City State Administration has reminded that within the framework of the agreement signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the capital will acquire 40 modern tram cars adapted to serve passengers with disabilities, and 50 subway cars.

In September 2019, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko appointed Maksym Bakhmatov as his advisor.
