Deposit Guarantee Fund last week sold insolvent banks' assets worth UAH 41 mln

The Deposit Guarantee Fund last week sold insolvent banks' assets worth UAH 40.83 million, the fund's press service reported.
“Last week (November 11 –15) the assets of 15 banks, which are in the management of the Fund, were sold for UAH 40.83 million,” the report says.
In particular, UAH 6.14 million was received from the repayment of fund creditors' claims and UAH 34.60 million from the sale of main banks' assets. Also, UAH 0.05 million was obtained from the direct sale of banks’ property, UAH 0.04 million from the sale of coins and bank metals.
As Ukrinform reported, the Deposit Guarantee Fund last week planned to sell insolvent banks' assets for a total sum of UAH 5.679 billion.
