Deposit Guarantee Fund returns UAH 50 mln to bankrupt banks' depositors in October

The Deposit Guarantee Fund paid off over UAH 50.0 million to depositors of insolvent banks in October 2019, according to the Fund’s press service.
“In October 2019, over UAH 50.0 million was paid off to depositors of insolvent banks within the limits of the guaranteed compensation," reads the report.
As of November 1, 2019, the register of the Fund's members included 74 banks. The total amount of funds accumulated by the Fund made up UAH 10.14 billion.
In January-October 2019, revenues to the Fund from regular fees totaled UAH 3.6 billion.
As of November 1, 2019, the total sum of guaranteed refunds paid to the depositors of insolvent banks, transferred to the management of the Fund in line with the Law of Ukraine “On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals” (as of February 26, 2012), within the limits of the guaranteed compensation, reached UAH 89,681.6 million
