Revenues from tourism fees in Donetsk region grow almost threefold

In January-October 2019, revenues from tourism fees have grown almost threefold in Donetsk region compared with the relevant period last year, up to UAH 2.3 million.

The Main Department of the State Fiscal Service in Donetsk region released the relevant report on November 8.

"Over ten months of 2019, tourists in Donetsk region paid UAH 2.3 million of tourism fees, which is almost three times or UAH 1.4 million more than last year's figures,” reads the report.

The department noted that the largest shares of revenues from tourism fees were transferred to the local budgets of resort areas of the Azov coast - UAH 715,000, and the local budgets of Sloviansk, Lyman cities and Slovianskyi district – over UAH 683,000.
