Ukraine, Lithuania sign memorandum on consumer protection cooperation

The Ukrainian State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

"The Ukrainian State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the main areas of cooperation in the field of consumer protection," reads the report posted on the website of the Ukrainian state service.

In particular, the signing of the Memorandum will ensure the creation of an organizational basis for cooperation between the two countries so that to implement a coordinated policy in the field of consumer rights, which aims at establishing equal conditions for the protection of interests of citizens of Ukraine and Lithuania from unfair market participants.
