Share of used foreign cars continues to grow in Ukraine - Ukrautoprom

In January-October 2019, 349,000 used foreign cars were registered in Ukraine, which is four times higher compared with the relevant period last year, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Ukrautoprom).
"In January - October, 349,000 used cars were imported and registered in Ukraine, which is more than four times higher year-over-year," reads the report.
In October 2019, the number of registered used foreign cars grew to 27,000, which is 2.3 times more than in October 2018.
The most popular used foreign light vehicles registered in Ukraine were Volkswagen cars - 4.4 thousand, Skoda cars – 2.4 thousand, and Ford cars – 2.3 thousand.
As Ukrinform reported, 116.8 thousand used cars imported from foreign countries were registered in Ukraine in 2018, twice as many as in 2017.
