Government budgets about UAH 2.6 bln for information policy

The main budget expenditures for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports were published on its Facebook page.

In particular, the Government proposes to allocate UAH 2 billion for public broadcasting service and UAH 569 million for the information space protection, Ukrinform, and UATV.

Ukraine plans to spend UAH 556 million on youth policy. For the first time, the Government intends to allocate UAH 240 million for the development of tourism and UAH 500 million for the youth mobility program.

As Ukrinform reported, on October 18, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in first reading the draft law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020". At an extraordinary meeting on November 3, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Ukraine’s draft state budget for 2020 for second reading.
