Draft budget 2020 envisages UAH 7.5 bln for State Regional Development Fund – Honcharuk

The Government has envisaged UAH 7.5 billion in the 2020 draft state budget for the State Regional Development Fund and UAH 2 billion for the social and economic development of the regions.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said this during a presentation of the draft state budget for 2020, prepared for second reading, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, the Government proposed to allocate UAH 7.5 billion to finance the State Regional Development Fund and another UAH 2 billion to the social and economic development of the regions.

In addition, the Government plans to allocate UAH 1.8 billion for national investment projects and additionally attract UAH 22.6 billion from international partners.

As Ukrinform reported, at an extraordinary meeting on November 3, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Ukraine’s draft state budget for 2020 for second reading.
