Naftogaz raises gas prices for industry by almost 20% in November

“The proposed prices for natural gas from the company's resource have been differentiated depending on the volume of purchases, terms of payment and the state of previous settlements with Naftogaz. Depending on these indicators, Naftogaz proposes natural gas at the price of UAH 5,861.00 – 6,463.00 per 1,000 cubic meters (without VAT, main and distribution pipeline transportation costs). Comparing with the prices in October 2019, the prices will be raised by 18.4-19.6% in November,” reads the report.

The company added that such a change in gas prices was due to an increase in gas prices in the European market, from where Ukraine imports gas. Thus, European hub prices exceeded the current prices in Ukraine by almost a half.

As reported, Naftogaz set the price of natural gas for industrial consumers and other economic entities in October 2019 at the level of UAH 4,272.76 per 1,000 cubic meters (without VAT, main and distribution pipeline transportation costs).), which was 4.9% less than the prices set in September 2019.
