Infrastructure minister Kryklii: Ukraine interested in Georgia's deregulation and concession experience

"We are interested in Georgia's experience in such important areas as concession, deregulation, stamping out the shadow economy, digitizing processes and other successfully implemented reforms," Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii said during a meeting with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine reports.

The first concession projects in the ports of Olvia and Kherson have been already launched and two more concession projects in the ports and granting the ferry crossing in Chornomorsk to concession are underway, the Ukrainian minister added.

The Prime Minister of Georgia declared his support for Ukraine's aspirations for integration into the EU and readiness to deepen cooperation. Gakharia also noted that Georgia had experience in implementing concession projects and was ready to share it with the Ukrainian side.

Kryklii informed the Georgian Prime Minister about the plans and reforms of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine for the next five years in the road and railway sectors and stressed that Ukraine welcomed the participation of the Georgian side and business in new processes.
